Jennifer Pierce is currently a licensed professional counselor and a PhD student in the clinical-community psychology program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She was a police officer for over 8 years with the Anchorage Police Department and has two master’s degrees in criminal justice and clinical psychology. She worked at Providence Hospital as a mental health clinician on an inpatient unit and in the emergency department. She is currently working at the Anchorage Fire Department working alongside EMS providers as a mental health clinician for the Mobile Crisis Team.
